Cornell Dubilier Electronics introduces two new series of Hybrid LIC Supercapacitors in response to the growing need for ultra-high capacitance values at higher operating voltages. Rockwell Automation has recently released new sizes in its line of energy- and space-saving Allen-Bradley Bulletin 300 NEMA contactors. The contactors, now available in NEMA sizes 00 to 8, feature universal electronic coils that reduce inrush apparent power (VA) by up to 68% and sealed VA by over 75% compared to standard, non-electronic coils. The electronic coils also save engineering time by covering 20 to 500 V AC/DC coil voltages with only four coil options, greatly simplifying selection.

Function
Panel meters can be categorized by type, size, style or other criteria. One way to begin the selection process is to look at the meter’s function – what measurement is this meter making? Some common functions are ammeter, voltmeter, frequency meter, power meter, energy meter, counter, timer, temperature meter, process meter, and controller.
