Kooltronic: New DSP28 3,000 BTU/H Slim-Depth Access Series High Capacity Cooling Unit

Kooltronic, Inc. of Pennington, NJ has added a new 3,000 BTU/H model to its Access Series line of slim-depth electrical enclosure air conditioners – the DSP28 AC unit.

Kooltronic has expanded its Access Series line of slim-depth air conditioners with a higher-capacity model. The new 3,000 BTU/H Access Series DSP28 AC unit rounds out the lineup of low-profile cooling units which also includes the 1,000 BTU/H DSP17 and 2,000 BTU/H DSP23 models. Access Series Air Conditioners feature an ultra-slim depth and compact footprint for inconspicuous mounting onto NEMA 12 and NEMA 3R enclosure panels or doors.

All Access Series Enclosure Air Conditioners are engineered to provide reliable, high-performance closed-loop cooling of enclosures with space constraints that would preclude the use of traditional refrigerant-based cooling units. Access Series Air Conditioners are UL/cUL Listed and can be configured for applicable enclosure IP designations and voltage needs. Custom-designed cooling solutions are also available.

Siemens Introduces New Solution for Monitoring High-Voltage Lines

Siemens Smart Infrastructure recently launched its new PowerLink CM, a condition monitoring solution for high-voltage AC and DC transmission lines. To ensure reliable power supply, optimize grid utilization and prevent blackouts the device is designed to precisely locate faults in the transmission grid and continuously track line conditions. One single PowerLink CM device is sufficient to monitor line lengths of up to 500 km.

Pepperl+Fuchs recently introduced the new KFU8-SR-EX universal powered switch amplifier, which can be used in intrinsically safe applications and functional safety up to SIL 2. The new KFU8 can be supplied with 19 V DC to 30 V DC or 90 V AC to 253 V AC, making the new switch amplifier family from Pepperl+Fuchs a true standout.
