Murrelektronik: Eco-Rail-2 Power Supplies with Basic Functionality

Eco-Rail-2 power supply units offer manufacturers of machinery and control cabinets the possibility to supply power to their consumers flexibly and economically. These units provide basic functionality and help to monitor the overall costs in the control cabinet.

Available in different power ratings

The Eco-Rail-2 series is available in five units with power ratings from 1.3 to 20 A. The output voltage of the devices can be set from 23 to 28 V to supply the required power to the consumer regardless of the length of the power supply line. Connecting two power supply units in series allows the output voltage to be increased to 48 V.

Eco-Rail-2 stands for:

  • Flexibility due to the range of versions and adjustable output voltage
  • Excellent mains failure bridging time of more than 40 milliseconds

AutomationDirect has added several new additions to the powerful LS Electric XGB PLC series. For discrete (ON/OFF) monitoring and control, a new lower-cost 24 VDC 8-point input module, 8-point 12-24 VDC sinking and sourcing output modules, an 8-point relay module with Form A contacts, and a 16-point combination discrete input/relay output module are now available. Greenlee, part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, introduces the ESG65LXR Gator Remote Cable Cutter, its latest tool solution for the high-voltage industry. With a cutting capacity of up to 2.55 inches, the ESG65LXR enables the operator to develop better safety-focused solutions for cutting smaller cable for underground cable cutting.
