Introducing the PJHMI Series polycarbonate HMI hinged cover kits from Hammond Manufacturing. These cover kits provide protection for instruments or electronics requiring routine attention or detail. They are available in light gray opaque and polycarbonate thermoplastic clear covers, and they come with several cover latching options, which include hinged screw covers, temper proof screw covers, and snap latches with pad lock features.

  • Listed UL component for use with enclosures rated Types 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 or 13.
  • CSA listed Type 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 or 13.
  • 316 stainless steel hinge pin.
  • UV stabilized for outdoor use.
  • Formed-In-Place (FIP) polyurethane gasket in continuous channel.
  • Designed for use with wall thicknesses from 16 gauge through 1/4″
  • #10-32 threaded brass inserts with plated steel mounting fasteners.
  • Service temperature -31°F (-35°C) to 266°F (130°C)

The Siemens SIMOVAC medium-voltage non-arc-resistant and SIMOVAC-AR arc-resistant controllers have a modular design incorporating up to two 12SVC400 (400 A) controllers, housed in a freestanding sheet steel enclosure. Each controller is UL 347 class E2, equipped with three current-limiting fuses, a non-load-break isolating switch, and a fixed-mounted vacuum contactor (plug-in type optional for 12SVC400). The enclosure is designed for front access, allowing the equipment to be located with the rear of the equipment close to a non-combustible wall.
