AutomationDirect: LUTZE SUPERFLEX Shielded Continuous Flexing Control Cable

AutomationDirect has added LUTZE SUPERFLEX control cable that is well-suited for short to medium-length articulated drag chain (C-tracks) installations requiring moderate to high performance.

The High Glide TPE insulation and PVC outer jacket provide resistance to sunlight, oil, and moisture penetration, and make this cable ideal for indoor wet and dry applications or outdoor installations.

Shielded models of LUTZE SUPERFLEX control cable are now available for added protection from electromagnetic interference. This cable is available in 21 AWG to 12 AWG sizes, with up to 18 conductors including a ground, and is made in the USA.

The new LUTZE SUPERFLEX cable is cut to length in 1-foot increments with a 20 ft. minimum, starting at $2.20/ft.

Siemens: NEMA 1 and UL Type 1 Wall-Mounting Kits for G-Series Drive Platform

Siemens has recently announced the availability of wall-mounting kits for its Sinamics G120C and G120 PM240-2 modular drives.  These low-cost kits allow easy, fast installation of the drives and conform to NEMA 1 and UL Type 1 standards for interior applications.  These wall-mount kits are designed in accordance with UL 61800-5-1 standards for AC drives.

Introducing the new Type 4X wiring trough from Hammond Manufacturing. Made from formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, the trough has a butt-hinged cover which is secured with easily operated screw clamps, oil resistant gaskets which are permenently secured, and 12 gauge external mounting feet that are welded to the back. Each trough and cover have a smooth-brushed finish.
