Phoenix Contact: Circular Connectors With Assembled Cables

PRC series plastic circular connectors from Phoenix Contact are now also available as an assembled connection solution.

The pre-assembled connectors and cables are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and are ideal for fast startup since no on-site assembly is required.

The cable assemblies are available as three- or five-position versions with both a connector and a coupling, or as five-position versions with a connector or a coupling and a free cable end. The connectors with IP69 degree of protection are designed for rated currents of 35 A and rated voltages of 690 V. The weatherproof materials of the connectors and cables enable use in atmospheres containing salt or use in direct sunlight.

The unshielded version gives design engineers more flexibility in applications without EMI concerns. The FINEPITCH series comes in multiple orientations, stack heights, and number of positions. For easy and time-saving mounting of Heavycon D7 connectors, Phoenix Contact offers panel-mount bases with screw-in thread. They can be easily attached in round panel cutouts with an M25 or M32 counter nut or screwed directly into motors and devices with corresponding threads. Heavy-duty connectors in size D7 enable the flexible, space-saving, and robust cabling of machines and systems. The new panel-mount bases with screw-in thread save a significant amount of time during mounting and thus offer a plug-in alternative to the existing cable gland.
