Eaton’s specialized panels were specially designed for the tough pumping installations associated with applications in mining operations and tunnelling projects. The panels are intended for use in non-hazardous, resistance or solidly grounded installations and up to 600 Vac.

Pepperl+Fuchs now combines its proven FB remote I/O system with enclosures from the innovative GR series made from glass fiber reinforced polyester. The result is a range of four standardized remote I/O field units, which offer maximum flexibility and are certified for applications in Zone 1/21 explosion hazardous environments. These new field units are equipped with plug-in slots for either 10 or 12 dual width I/O modules or for 20 or 24 single width I/O modules.

SCHURTER: DG11/DG12 Series Classic Power Entry Module with Circuit Breaker Gets Even Better

SCHURTER series DG11 and DG12 with and without mains filter features a first-of-its-kind ingress protection solution for IEC inlets, consisting of a seal gasket between the connector and mating V-Lock power cord. The blue colored latch of the V-Lock power cord and blue inlay of the appliance inlet indicate that the two have been equipped to provide an IP54 rating under load. The unit is screw mounted and rated IP67 between the power entry module and the panel.

Pepperl+Fuchs Introduces KFU8-SR-EX Switch Amplifiers with Wide-Range Supply for Intrinsically Safe Applications and Functional Safety up to SIL 2

Pepperl+Fuchs recently introduced the new KFU8-SR-EX universal powered switch amplifier, which can be used in intrinsically safe applications and functional safety up to SIL 2. The new KFU8 can be supplied with 19 V DC to 30 V DC or 90 V AC to 253 V AC, making the new switch amplifier family from Pepperl+Fuchs a true standout. With this functionality, a single device can be used with various supply voltages. This frequently applies to a variety of applications, such as machine building and devices installed in a field box. As a result, fewer components need to be kept in stock and in the field technician’s toolbox.
