Polycase Expands Economical Series of NEMA Enclosures

Polycase has added two new sizes to their NEMA-rated The HD-36F, a 5.50” x 3.50” x 2.37” enclosure, and the HD-46F, a 6.63” x 4.68” x 1.63” enclosure, are available in gray or black impact-resistant UV stable polycarbonate.

Designed for outdoor use, the enclosures are weatherproof, waterproof and corrosion-resistant meeting NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3RX, 3S, 3SX, 3X, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, 12 & 13 standards and IP65, IP66, IP67 & IP68 requirements. An extra deep gasketed cover assembles to the flanged base with stainless steel screws. The screws are assembled from the bottom of the base into the cover, hiding them when the enclosure is surface mounted, adding security and aesthetics. The molded-on flange offers both screw holes and key holes for mounting versatility.

Internal mounting bosses are molded in the base and cover for quick assembly of a PCB, LCD or optional aluminum mounting panel accessory. Additional available accessories include cable glands and vents. Polycase enclosures can be expertly customized with CNC machining and digital printing.

TT Electronics recently announced the launch of its PAA and PAAM series of AC-DC encapsulated power modules with enhanced power density, ideal for space constrained industrial and medical electronic equipment applications. Available in power ratings ranging from 5 to 150 watts, the PAA encapsulated modules are PCB mountable in a compact footprint starting at 1.1” x 1.5” (8.05W/in³).
