ifm: Temporary Housing Color Change

Due to limited raw material availability, some products may be delivered in black PBT plastic instead of their normal orange color. Technically, there is no difference in the material other than the color and the products will also carry the same approvals.

At this moment, it is unclear how long the delivery constraints will last on the orange PBT plastic, but in order to maintain product availability, ifm will deliver them in black as needed.

The list of affected part numbers are shown in the table below and a notification will be placed on the datasheet page for each product.

METCASE’s TECHNOMET-CONTROL HMI Enclosures Now Offer Seamless Wall Mounting

METCASE’s premium TECHNOMET-CONTROL HMI enclosures for displays, touch screens and panel PCs can now be conveniently mounted in any suitable indoor location using a new wall mounting kit (accessory). The new kit allows the enclosures to be mounted on walls, machines and other flat surfaces to suit the user’s required location for their HMI system. Ultra-Miniature and Surface-Mount Reed Switches Offer Wider Sensitivity Range for Position and Speed Sensing Applications

Littelfuse, Inc. recently introduced the MITI-7 Series Ultra-Miniature Reed Switch, a Form A (single-pole, single-throw normally open or SPST-NO) switch that’s hermetically sealed in a 7mm-long glass envelope. The MITI-7 Series offers sensitivity options ranging from 6 AT to 20 AT, far wider than existing magnetic switches of comparable size, which were limited to a range of just 6 AT to 10 AT.
