April 13, 2021

Narrow, single-channel PTCB circuit breakers are now available with approval for Hazardous Locations Class I, Div. 2 Groups A, B, C, D, Temperature Class T4. That means PTCBs can also be used in Ex areas (Division 2) with briefly occurring gases and vapors.

The products are tested in accordance with the UL 121201 standard and have the cULus-listed logo. Extending the range of applications has made them extremely versatile. Benefit from even more flexibility with PTCBs.

Thanks to their space-saving overall width of 6 mm, these devices offer reliable protection from overload and short-circuit current in tight spaces. In the portfolio of the PTCB narrow electronic circuit breakers, you will find the right device, whether you require adjustable or fixed nominal currents, a remote reset function, or have special challenges for applications in accordance with NEC class 2.
