Phoenix Contact: Protection for Telecommunications Applications

Phoenix Contact’s protective devices in the TERMITRAB complete product family provide a high level of protection against overvoltages in a minimum amount of space.

With the TTC-6-1×2-TELE devices, two new product variants are now available for fast VDSL applications with data transmission speeds up to 300 Mbps. The products are specifically tailored to the requirements for data transmission with Super Vectoring. Phoenix Contact’s SPDs, which are just 6 mm wide, even provide reliable protection for G.fast applications with up to 1.5 Gbps. This is also backed up by independent testing carried out by Telekom in Germany. In addition, the integrated overload protection (Power-Cross) protects your end devices in the event of faulty wiring.

The single-piece TTC-6-1×2-TELE protective devices are available with Push-in as well as screw connection technology.

Teledyne FLIR, part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, today introduced the FlexView dual field-of-view (DFOV) lens attachment for FLIR Axxx and Txxx Series thermography cameras designed to improve operational efficiency, safety, and accuracy from switchyards to the plant floor. With a single form factor just 6mm longer than the standard single-lens setup, operators now can have two lenses without adding weight while enjoying a smoother experience operating the camera and reducing inspection time in the field.
