Representing analog measurements digitally just got easier with the new S15C Analog to Pulse Pro converters from Banner. These converters are small, plug-on accessories that are designed to connect directly to a sensor or indicator and begin operating immediately, fitting seamlessly into your factory applications to convert analog sources into PFM or PWM signals. Existing analog sources can communicate via Pulse Pro to add localized indication, reduce infrastructure costs, and improve response time.

Key Benefits

BRING MORE OPERATIONS ONLINE

The Banner S15C Analog to Pulse Pro converters are easy to deploy with both existing and new sources to reliably access the data that is vital to OEE and IOT initiatives, and process enhancements. The pulsed output is robust and connects to existing digital inputs, allowing elimination of expensive analog hardware.

MEASURE DISTANCE AS PFM OR PWM SIGNALS

The S15C Analog to Pulse Pro converters are designed to easily re-deploy your existing analog sensors and equipment as Pulse Pro devices. Pulse Pro sends digital pulses that are proportionally scaled across the measuring span on the sensor. Onboard LEDs will indicate a loss of signal from the sensor, providing additional information to customers about target presence and simplifying troubleshooting.

EXPANDED ACCESS TO BANNER PRO LIGHTS

The Pulse Pro output of the S15C Analog to Pulse Pro Converters interfaces directly with the WLS27 Pro RGBW strip light and TL50 Pro tower light to provide real time, localized visual status information to staff. The indicator devices can be configured to represent measured values through intuitive LED colors and positions.

SMALL, RUGGED HOUSING FOR EASY INSTALLATION

The small, 15 mm tubular design and M12 connectivity of the S15C Analog to Pulse Pro converters enable easy installation in tight areas. The converter also uses the same power supply as the sensor, keeping wiring simple. Rugged, over-molded IP68 housing ensures reliable performance even in harsh environments.

Applications

These converters are used where Pulse Pro systems are being added to existing equipment or processes, or where the digital value of the analog source is more useful. Pulse Pro is also used in a wide variety of applications where immediate status visibility is necessary.
