Introducing the SmartRelay Series of programmable logic controllers from IDEC. These PLCs come standard with embedded RJ45 ethernet port, micro SD memory port, web server and 1:N communication.

Embedded RJ45 Ethernet Port

  •    –   Remote program download, upload and monitor
  •    –   Integrated web server for remote monitoring and control

Micro SD Card

  •    –   Equipped with micro SD slot for program storage, transfer and data logging
  •    –   No need for a special memory cartridge

Data Logging

  •    –   Up to 20,000 lines in a file with a maximum of 50 files can be stored in the Micro SD Memory card

Integrated Web Server

  •    –   Easily monitor and control web pages with no HTML knowledge
  •    –   Instant monitoring and control using standard web browser like Chrome, IE and Firefox
  •    –   View and control I/O status, timer, counters, analog set point and more There’s an App for that!
  •    –   Download iOS and Android App for free
  •    –   Using the SmartRelay App, users can view and control any I/O status, timer, counters, and analog set point anywhere and at any time

1:N Communication

  •    –   FL1F SmartRelays now have the capability to communicate with each other over an Ethernet network
  •    –   Up to 16 FL1F SmartRelays can be configured on the network

Rittal Enables AI With Modular Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) Capable of 1 Megawatt (MW) Cooling

In close cooperation with hyperscalers and server OEMs, Rittal has developed a modular cooling distribution unit (CDU) that delivers a cooling capacity of over 1 MW. It was the centerpiece exhibit at Rittal’s booth A24 at the 2024 OCP Global Summit on October 15-17. The CDU uses direct liquid cooling based on water – and is thus an example for new IT infrastructure technologies that are enablers for AI applications.

The ESSENTIAL POWER line from Phoenix Contact offers basic 24 V power functionality for controlled commercial environments. The ESSENTIAL power supplies are designed for basic, cost-sensitive applications, such as building automation, vending machines, test and simulation, and solar cell production. The ESSENTIAL power supplies are listed to UL 61010, are CE approved, and meet the IEC 61588-2-16 safety transformer standard. Phoenix Contact: FLASHTRAB-MB Lightning and Surge Protective Devices

The new FLASHTRAB-MB lightning and surge protective devices from Phoenix Contact are based on innovative triggered carbon spark gap technology. In addition to circuit versions for 12.5 kA, the portfolio now also includes versions for a discharge capacity of 25 kA. The FLT-MB devices with 25 kA protect against lightning currents of lightning protection level I/II. What’s special about these compact devices is that they are capable of handling multiple lightning pulses in an overall width of just 72 mm.
