RAFI has enhanced its RAFIX 30 FS+ illuminated pushbutton offering with the introduction of a stainless steel version. The sleek, modern design is available with optional LED ring lighting for stylish indication. Commonly used in automation, automotive, industrial and off-road vehicle applications, the RAFIX 30 FS+ illuminated pushbutton delivers clear and distinct tactile feedback, even through gloves.

Featuring a button surface with a metal V2A insert, the extremely flat structure means the button stands just 3.45 mm proud of the front panel for an elegant appearance. The pushbuttons feature IP65 degree of protection to the front side and, like all RAFIX 30 FS+ control and signaling units, they fit standard 30.3 mm installation openings.

The RAFIX 30 FS+ pushbuttons are available with white, red, green, yellow, or blue LED lit rings.

For terminal connection, the pushbuttons can be combined with PCB switching elements for PCB application or Quick Connect switching elements for conventional wiring. The PCB version has a mounting depth of just 15.7 mm, and the switching elements with LEDs and other components are located on a common board. The Quick Connect switching elements are connected individually with 2.8 mm x 0.8 mm quick connectors, resulting in a mounting depth of 33.3 mm. Illumination is via a plug-in LED clip. Both types of switching elements are available in versions with gold contacts for a maximum 35 V and 100 mA or with silver contacts for up to 250 V and 4 A.

  • Special tactile feedback
  • Ideal for operation with gloves
  • FS technology PCB switching elements minimize assembling errors
  • With the short-travel adapter, compatible with the MICON 5 tactile switch as a switching element
  • FLEXLAB technology for easy pushbutton legending
  • Protection class: IP 65
  • Switching elements with silver contacts (max. 250 V/4 A) or gold contacts (max. 35 V/100 mA)

Whether manufacturing packaging machines or components for airliners, companies must be able to guarantee all metal parts will remain durable and dependable throughout the product’s lifecycle. Recognizing this challenge, LSP Technologies pioneered an effective method to increase the strength of metal parts: surface treatment with pulsed laser beams. One of their most recent laser peening systems relies on the flexibility of EtherCAT and PC-based control technology from Beckhoff to meet the most diverse customer requirements.
