Designed to help professionals improve productivity while protecting sensitive data and contents from onlookers, this new model features Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), IPS technology for a wide range of accurate color reproduction and wide viewing angles of 178°/178°.
The 242B1V monitor comes with an integrated solution called Philips Privacy Mode. It offers privacy without the hassle of a clumsy screen protector. By simply pressing a button, users can switch to Privacy Mode, which makes your screen appear dark and barely visible from both sides. This effectively secures confidential and sensitive information from prying eyes, while maintaining clear visuals at the center. Once users are ready to switch back to wide-viewing mode, just press the button again.
The energy-efficient display incorporates PowerSensor, which automatically dims the monitor when users step away, saveing up to 70% energy costs. Another feature, LightSensor, provides you with the perfect brightness to suit the light levels in a room with minimal power.
The monitor not only comes with Flicker-free technology for less eye fatigue, and LowBlue Mode for easy on-the-eyes productivity. There is also an EasyRead mode, which affords you a paper-like reading experience.
