Miniature Piezo Alarms from Floyd Bell
March 25, 2020
The miniature Turbo Series piezo alarm from Floyd Bell features a design that is twice as loud and half the size of industry counterparts. The proprietary design works in any 1.065″ panel hole.
Turbo series alarms are available in seven different tones (continuous, beep, warble, siren, whoop, staccato, and chime), two volume levels, and four terminations. Operating voltage ranges cover 5-30Vdc, 5-15Vdc, 9-48Vdc and 5-24Vac/dc. All Turbo models are UL recognized. Alarm size is approximately 1″ in diameter by 1″ tall.
The new Turbo TXL7 Series Alarms give users seven different tone types in one panel-mount body. Which sound it emits simply depends on the combination of power applied to the 4 terminals. The TXL7 uses our new, large “96” body, which provides sound pressure levels up to 108(±5)dB and lower frequencies than other products in our catalog. The TXL7 is available with or without manual volume control and is made with either quick-connect blades or screw terminals. Sharing all of the great features of the Turbo™ Series alarms in a slightly larger package (1.5″ panel hole).
All Turbo Series alarms are epoxy encapsulated and polarity protected. The solid-state electronics are housed in a 94 V-O flame retardant, heavy-duty thermoplastic enclosure with a stainless steel, corrosion-resistant sound diaphragm. NEMA type 4X environmental security when used with optional gasket.
Applications include automotive, electrical, electronic instruments, warning, safety & security systems, personal protection, agricultural, vehicles, aircrafts, cranes, escalators, elevators, measurement instruments, game shops, golf grounds, hospitals, material handling, marine, military & telephonic & communication systems.
In addition to the standard product offering, Floyd Bell can modify existing units to meet application requirements.
