In this update of the EPLAN Data Portal, there are now a total of 465 manufacturers and more than 1,500,000 data sets are available with the update October 19, 2023.

EPLAN Data Portal Update 02 March 2023

The EPLAN Data Portal now has 436 manufacturers and more than 1,420,000 data sets available with the update on March 23, 2023. New manufacturer catalogs come from Adamczewski Elektronische Messtechnik GmbH with 65 data sets for input isolators and power value transformers, Fagor Automation, S. Coop. with 21 data sets for converters and PLCs, and Kyowa Europe GmbH with 10 data sets for converters, motors and PLCs.

How to Create Lockout Target Procedures

Lockout/tagout procedures, also known as energy control procedures, are used to establish a zero-energy state for safe servicing of equipment and machines. When considering lockout/tagout procedures, the first step is to understand what needs to be included in the procedure to achieve compliance and more importantly, to keep employees safe. The United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA) established a set of guidelines that must be included within each lockout/tagout procedure.
