Beckhoff at Achema 2024

At Achema 2024 from June 10 – 14, Beckhoff will showcase innovative solutions for the process industry’s entire value chain, ranging from manufacturing to packaging.

As a specialist in PC- and EtherCAT-based control technology, Beckhoff will present an integrated control system for automating all process steps as part of it’s comprehensive product portfolio. Beckhoff’s concepts for plant digitalization, smart product transport systems for flexible packaging processes, and the Linux-based control with TwinCAT will take center stage.

Carlo Gavazzi: New RM1D060D3 Solid State Relay Expands RM1D Series DC SSR Portfolio

Carlo Gavazzi is excited to introduce the expansion of its RM1D Series Solid State Relays, which will now include a 3 Amp DC rated version. This new addition, the RM1D060D3, will have a rated output voltage of up to 60 VDC. This extension was inspired by evolving market research that showed a large portion of the DC solid state relay market was less than or equal to 3 Amps DC. A key market driver of this addition is the electrification of vehicles. The team at Carlo Gavazzi is always striving to improve it’s offering and align the company with the market and competitors.

Gary Yu Promotion to President of Diodes Incorporated Announced

On Boxing Day of 2023, Diodes Incorporated announced that as part of a multi-year CEO succession plan its board of directors has approved the promotion of Gary Yu to President effective January 2, 2024. Dr. Keh-Shew Lu will continue to serve as Chairman and CEO until at least May 31, 2027, which is consistent with his current employment agreement. Mr. Yu joined Diodes in 2008 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, a position he was appointed to in February 2023.
