TTI, Inc., a distributor of electronic components, was pleased to recently introduce a suite of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), making it possible for engineering and procurement customers to access inventory, pricing information, and place orders in real time.
Rockwell Automation, Inc., a global company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, and Comau, a global provider in industrial automation and robot manufacturer, recently announced that they are joining forces to give businesses worldwide vital tools to maximize manufacturing efficiencies through unified robot control solutions.
On November 3, 2023, Siemens announced an investment of US$150 million in a new high-tech manufacturing plant in Dallas-Fort Worth to help power American data centers and critical infrastructure. This plant will produce state-of-the-art reliable and efficient electrical equipment. It will enable accelerated growth of U.S. data centers, which is being driven by the exponential adoption of generative AI. It will also ensure secure operation of critical infrastructure. This investment specifically supports long-term customers in the data center space, where demand is expected to grow by around ten percent annually through 2030.
Allied Electronics & Automation is now offering pre-assembled bundles of its private-label RS Pro by Allied products aimed at helping commercial, office and manufacturing companies restart on-site operations, and remote workers be more productive and connected in their offsite office environments.
RS has added dozens of new Industry 4.0 and electrical solutions suppliers to its line card over the course of the last year, making it even more of a one‑stop shop for industrial customers across a range of industries and application areas. The 39 new suppliers RS added in 2023 include some of the fastest‑growing and most innovative companies in the industrial marketplace. Thanks to this growing list of suppliers and an expansive warehouse, RS currently stocks more than 250,000 industrial, electrical, and electronic products from more than 700 trusted suppliers and has access to even more, including more than 73,000 industrial control products and more than 464,000 electrical products.

The Siemens SIMOVAC medium-voltage non-arc-resistant and SIMOVAC-AR arc-resistant controllers have a modular design incorporating up to two 12SVC400 (400 A) controllers, housed in a freestanding sheet steel enclosure. Each controller is UL 347 class E2, equipped with three current-limiting fuses, a non-load-break isolating switch, and a fixed-mounted vacuum contactor (plug-in type optional for 12SVC400). The enclosure is designed for front access, allowing the equipment to be located with the rear of the equipment close to a non-combustible wall.
