Molex, a global connectivity and electronics solutions provider, has recently signed a distribution agreement with WESCO | Anixter, a major provider of business-to-business distribution, logistics services and supply chain solutions. The agreement enables Molex to broaden the availability of its industrial products and solutions in North America and Europe with a world-class design, logistics and distribution partner.
Hammond Power Solutions Inc. (“HPS”) recently acquired a 100% equity ownership of Mesta Electronics Inc. (“Mesta”), a company in the United States. Mesta is involved in the design and manufacture of standard and custom active filter and induction heating products.
RS offers Banner Engineering’s extensive portfolio of advanced industrial automation sensors, including non-contact photoelectric, laser distance measurement, and multipoint or 3D time-of-flight sensors. Sensors are a vital link in the densely interconnected networks that drive the implementation and evolution of Industry 4.0 — responsible for measuring, monitoring, and transmitting information about a host of operations essential to driving efficiencies on assembly lines and factory floors alike. And as industrial automation technology has evolved, so have the various sensor technologies that enable them.
Recently, TTI, Inc. was pleased to announce at the recent EDS Leadership Summit, TTI was awarded Dialight’s Distribution Engagement and Sales Award. Dialight is recognized as a world leader in providing LED solutions for a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications.
The Weidmuller Group is strengthening its first management level as of 10/01/2024: Dr Sebastian Durst, previously Chief Operations Officer, is taking over the newly created position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Furthermore, Weidmuller is relying on continuity and experienced, internal personnel to fill the other Executive Board positions. Dr Sebastian Durst has been with Weidmuller since 2015 after 10 years as a management consultant. Christian Glasel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the family-owned company, is pleased: ‘With Dr Durst, we were able to gain an expert from our internal team for the role of CEO, who will powerfully drive forward the successful transformation of Weidmuller.
Molex recently released results of a global survey of decision makers from telecom carriers exploring the “state of 5G” and the significant transformational opportunities it presents, along with its impact on deployment progress, current delivery challenges and emerging business prospects. Overall, carriers are optimistic: more than half of those surveyed expect to deliver substantial end-user benefits within two to five years while 47% reported that users already are seeing value or will within one year.
