Graybar has recently announced that Jason P. Casey has been named Vice President – Distribution Operations, effective July 22, 2024. Casey has 27 years with Graybar and currently serves as Director, Business Technology. Prior to his current role, he was Director, Corporate Real Estate Development. He has also worked in the company’s Richmond and St. Louis Districts in a variety of operations, finance and accounting roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Randolph-Macon College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

The Belgian snack food manufacturer Poco Loco decided to modernise its plants to increase the efficiency of its production lines and thereby optimise its processes. The configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2 and corresponding software tool PNOZmulti Configurator is as an efficient and safe solution at Poco Loco. The manufacture of snack products requires a multi-part, interlinked production cycle. Previously the plant sections were regarded as individual units with separate emergency shutdown circuits.

The Siemens SIMOVAC medium-voltage non-arc-resistant and SIMOVAC-AR arc-resistant controllers have a modular design incorporating up to two 12SVC400 (400 A) controllers, housed in a freestanding sheet steel enclosure.
