In line with the motto “Infinite opportunities from infinite data”, Siemens will be demonstrating at the Digital Enterprise Virtual Experience how industrial companies can master the rapidly changing challenges of our time with the help of digitization, automation and intelligent use of the resulting data. With the Hannover Messe 2021 Digital Edition, the major trade fair for the manufacturing industry, energy sector and logistics will take place completely virtually from April 12 to 16. Siemens is participating with its own virtual presentation at the trade fair. In an almost real 3D environment, participants can virtually experience products, solutions and concrete application examples.

In this update of the EPLAN Data Portal, there are now a total of 440 manufacturers and more than 1,420,000 data sets available with the May 16, 2023 update. New manufacturer catalogs come from Delta Computer Systems, Inc. with 80 new data sets for cables, converters and PLCs, and OBO BETTERMANN Holding GmbH & Co. KG with 78 new data sets for cable ducts, housing, protection devices and user-defined rail.

Siemens: SIMOVAC Non-Arc-Resistant and SIMOVAC-AR Arc-Resistant Motor Controllers

The Siemens SIMOVAC medium-voltage non-arc-resistant and SIMOVAC-AR arc-resistant controllers have a modular design incorporating up to two 12SVC400 (400 A) controllers, housed in a freestanding sheet steel enclosure. Each controller is UL 347 class E2, equipped with three current-limiting fuses, a non-load-break isolating switch, and a fixed-mounted vacuum contactor (plug-in type optional for 12SVC400). The enclosure is designed for front access, allowing the equipment to be located with the rear of the equipment close to a non-combustible wall.
