Rexel France to Distribute Trace Software’s Electrical and PV Design Solutions
November 30, 2020
Trace Software was recently pleased to announce the signing of a distribution contract with REXEL France, a global energy expert. The contract covers the entire offer of the French publisher: elec calc, elec calc EP, elec calc BIM and the archelios suite.
These software solutions enable to size and operate low and high voltage electrical installations as well as all types of solar installations.
The distribution contract is part of Rexel France’s strategy to offer its customers the tools and services associated with the purchase of electrical equipment. The elec calc range is a modern and unique multi-manufacturers offering on the market, used by control offices, it has the French ELIE BT brand and is independent of any manufacturer.
The products distributed by Rexel France require an application to be sized. With the arrival of the digital model, Rexel France wishes to accompany its customers from the prescription to the operation of the facilities. Trace Software’s softwares have been integrated into the Rexel ecosystem and are directly connected to the Rexel.fr website. This integration offers significant time savings and consideration of price and time constraints well in advance of projects.
“Trace Software now offers the market highly educational modern products that will be essential tools for our customers. We have with Trace Software a common DNA, the profession of the electrician, innovation and proximity to the customer. This 30-year-old publisher has a remarkable agility that is complementary to the operation of Rexel France. His product vision has enabled him to be one of the leading electronics software companies in the world. Collaborating with Trace Software is perfectly in line with our strategy of supporting our customers and bringing them value in a sustainable way.”, says Julien Neuschwander, Director of Innovation and Services Rexel France.
“Our teams and I are extremely proud to work with Rexel France. We are coming out of an intense period of research and development that enable us to offer modern software solutions that are undoubtedly the most sophisticated on the market. Our multi-manufacturer offering and our unique Open BIM solution were really decisive in Rexel France’s decision. This contract is a great reward and recognition for our research and development work and our vision of electrical installation design tools. The signing of this contract is in line with our desire to take the lead in the design and calculation tools of electrical installations in Europe.”, says Etienne Mullie, Founding President and Head of Research and Development at Trace Software.
