Eplan Announces Subscription Model for New Licences

September 22, 2020

The industrial transformation is in full swing. As a result, the market conditions are changing. Eplan is consistently adapting to these changes: As of August 2021, new software licences will be offered exclusively on a subscription basis. Companies will especially benefit from more flexibility.

“We want to further intensify the relationship with our customers. In times of the digital and industrial transformation, close communication forms the basis for success on both sides,” says Eplan CEO Sebastian Seitz.

Starting from 01 August 2021, Eplan will be offering new licences exclusively as subscriptions. Eplan CEO Sebastian Seitz explains the move: “For our customers, we are aligning our business 100 per cent towards the future. This ground-breaking decision will pay off for both current and new customers alike.” Seitz is certain that benefits like the attractive entry conditions, flexibility regarding the subscription duration as well as the comprehensive package of new features being introduced with the launch of the coming version of Eplan will leave nothing to be desired.

Wanted: Intensive dialogue with customers

“Our customers’ success is the focus of everything we do,” Seitz says. “With our software developments, we want to fully convince as well as inspire them.” This statement also outlines the company’s credo: ensuring and advancing its customers’ success with efficient engineering. Furthermore, CEO Seitz is looking forward to the subscription model bringing about even more intensive dialogue with customers. “We want to further intensify the relationship with our customers. In times of the digital and industrial transformation, close communication forms the basis for success on both sides.”

The new subscription conditions are available immediately. However, both new clients and current customers can continue to purchase new or additional licences as perpetual licences until 31 July 2021.
