DRC Series DIN Rail AC/DC Power Supplies

XP Power expands its range of DIN rail AC/DC power supplies with the DRC30, DRC60, and DRC100. These competitively priced, lightweight, compact units have a low-profile case of a similar profile to that of circuit breakers, allowing them to fit in consumer unit style housings or control panel installations. The standard width cases allow direct substitution with other similar products. The DRC series power supplies are ideal for escalator/travellator/elevator/lift controls, building heating/aircon monitoring, control and security systems, factory automation, and machine and process control applications.

The 30 W DRC30 and 60 W DRC60 have a choice of five DC outputs: 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, 24 V, and 48 V. The 100 W DRC100 has a choice of four DC outputs: 12 V, 15 V, 24 V, and 48 V. An output adjustment screw is provided on the front of each device (see models and ratings tables for adjustment range).

There is no minimum load requirement; the no-load input power is 0.3 W to 0.4 W depending on the model. A DC OK LED provides a clear indication of an active DC output. All models feature internally fused input protection, overvoltage, overload, and short circuit protection. The input to output isolation is 4 kVAC. All models are class II and have an input range of 85 VAC to 264 VAC with derating below 100 VAC or 120 VDC to 370 VDC with derating below 140 VDC

EMC standards include EN55032 Class B for conducted and radiated emissions; EN61000-4-2, 3, 4, 5, 6 for EMC immunity; safety approvals include UL62368-1 and TUV EN62368-1. The operating temperature range is -30°C to +70°C with full power available from -10°C to +45°C/+50°C (see data sheet temperature derating graphs). The MTBF is greater than 300 khrs (MIL-HDBK-217F, +25°C GB) with an operating altitude of 2000 m.

The DRC power supplies are housed in lightweight black plastic UL94V-0 rated cases with a snap-on DIN rail (TS35/7.5 or TS35/15) mounting with a spring-loaded release catch. Connection is via screw cage clamp terminals wire gauge 12 AWG to 24 AWG. The DRC30 measures 3.65 inch x 1.38 inch x 2.28 inch (92.7 mm x 35.0 mm x 58.0 mm) with a weight of 115 g. The DRC60 measures 3.65 inch x 2.05 inch x 2.28 inch (92.7 mm x 52.0 mm x 58.0 mm) and weighs 175 g. The DRC100 measures 3.65 inch x 2.76 inch x 2.28 inch (92.7 mm x 70.0 mm x 58.0 mm) with a weight of 235 g.
