Polycase: Smaller Sized Versatile Waterproof Enclosure

Avon, OH – Polycase, a leading US manufacturer of electronics enclosures, has added a new size to the popular ZH and ZQ Series NEMA enclosures.  The new 5.04” x 5.04” x 4.83” polycarbonate enclosure is now the smallest option from both series. The versatile NEMA 4X enclosures are designed for harsh environments, making them an ideal choice for industries such as oil & gas, telecommunication, agriculture, marine, alternative energy and many more. The new enclosures are UL Listed to NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3X, 3RX, 3S, 3SX, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, 12, and 13 and also meet IP65, IP66, IP67, and IP68 requirements.

The US-manufactured enclosures feature a durable polycarbonate base in gray and a cover in either gray or clear, a continuous gasket for ingress protection and stainless-steel hardware. Strengthening ribs designed into the polycarbonate flanges and feet provide extra durability for surface-mounted applications.

Designed for versatility, the plastic electrical enclosures offer four different internal panel options. Panels can be mounted to the cover, bottom of the base, top of the base or suspended at any height within the base. Modular mounting bosses in the base and cover provide additional flexibility for mounting components. Other optional accessories include pole mounting hardware, DIN rail kits, cable glands, and a variety of vents.
