Roxtec Transit Operate Simplifies Long-Term Safety Control

Roxtec Transit Operate is a new software for chief and safety officers and operational managers responsible for safety and lifecycle management of assets. They can keep track of all cable and pipe transits, from initial installations to recent upgrades, and secure long-term quality assurance while reducing paperwork. The software enables seamless collaboration between owners, contractors and inspectors from classification societies. It also enables full compliance with the new international class requirements stating that owners of ships and offshore units shall maintain a cable transit seal systems register and make sure it is complete, correct and available for surveyors.

The newest medium voltage variable drive frequency from Rockwell Automation delivers excellent performance in about half the space. The latest enhancement to the PowerFlex 6000T drive now accepts up to 13.8 kV primary voltage, nearly twice the input voltage, in a footprint that is only 2310…3010 mm (7.58…9.87 feet) wide. The drive can be applied to 3…4.16 kV applications with high voltage input built in.
