Introducing the Type 12 Lay-In Wireway from Hammond Manufacturing, designed to enclose and protect electrical wiring from dirt, dust, oil and water. All sections and fittings of the wireway are completely open on each side to allow wires and cables to be placed into the wireway without ‘pulling through’. The Type-12 has UL 870 Type 1 and CSA Type 1 standards, unless marked, and complies with NEMA Type 12 and IEC 60529, IP54 standards.
Using an L32 B connector allows users to replace two size 16 B interfaces — saving over 40% of installation space. This makes it possible to transmit power, signals and data with fewer interfaces and fewer components. It also cuts the time required to assemble interfaces. This doubles the battery life of existing versions with smaller batteries. The Q45 sensor line is a family of wireless, self-contained units for coordinating multiple machines in part-counting, and OEE applications. Each model combines a sensor, wireless node, and an internal battery in a single device.
(Wuppertal) The Schmersal Group has further developed its compact RSS260 safety sensor and equipped it with new software – the sensor now offers four additional, optionally selectable functions: – Feedback loop monitoring – Automatic restart / manual restart – Reset – Emergency stop monitoring. On the F0/F1 version, the RSS260 assumes the tasks of a safety relay module, i.e. monitoring of the movable safety guard as well as of the contactors directly actuated by the sensor outputs.
