IDEC: RV8 Interface Series

IDEC: RV8 Interface Series

IDEC interface relays provide a compact solution for general purpose relay requirements. The RV8 series interface relays are ideal for PLC and other controller output, industrial automation, panel builders, assembly machine applications and other applications that require a high switching capability in a compact space. The RV8 relays can be used as a universal interfaces between the controller and the actuator to switch small and medium size loads.

Setting the stage for seamless connectivity

Setting the stage for seamless connectivity

At the Hannover Messe (Hall 9 / Booth D26), B&R will be the first to present an automation portfolio that speaks OPC UA over TSN. And with that, the vision of interface free communication from the sensor to the cloud is now a reality. The open standard means OEMs are no longer locked in to a specific vendor and enjoy greater freedom in the design of their machines. Another exhibition highlight will be B&R’s full integration of robotics in the machine control system.

WAGO: Measurement – Directly At the Infeed Current Transformer With a Voltage Tap For 2-Conductor Through Terminal Block 185 MM2 (350 KCMIL)

Ready for compact installations, a new model completes WAGO’s series of current transformers with voltage taps. In addition to the 50 mm2 (1/0 AWG) and 95 mm2 (4/0 AWG) versions, a current transformer with voltage tap for WAGO’s 185 mm2 (350 kcmil) through terminal block is now also available, making it perfect for measuring energy in small spaces.

Siemens Enables Holistic Energy Data Analysis in Buildings

Siemens Enables Holistic Energy Data Analysis in Buildings

At this year’s Light+Building trade show, Siemens Smart Infrastructure will show the first energy management solution that holistically captures energy data in buildings. It collects data all the way to the final circuit without any additional wiring or space requirements. All electrical data – from the power feed-in to the socket outlet – can then be seamlessly integrated into building management systems and analyzed by cloud-based applications.

SCTxxxx | Current Transformers (CT) for Energy Measurement

SCTxxxx | Current Transformers (CT) for Energy Measurement

By completing the power measurement chain from the sensor to the cloud, PC-based control specialist Beckhoff enables a significant simplification of energy management approaches and improves the availability of machines and production facilities. Permanently integrated and seamless power measurement across entire installations allows users to perform extensive inline analyses to detect any deviation and take quick corrective action.

Quick-disconnect M8 cables and M12 field wireable connectors from AutomationDirect

Quick-disconnect M8 cables and M12 field wireable connectors from AutomationDirect

Quick-disconnect cables have a 3, 4 or 5-socket M8 female connector on one end and 3, 4 or 5 open leads on the other end to provide fast and easy connection between field devices and terminal connections. A “lock in place” nickel plated brass or zinc coupling nut resists high levels of shock and vibration.

Siemens: New busbar trunking system enables higher energy efficiency for data centers of tomorrow

Siemens: New busbar trunking system enables higher energy efficiency for data centers of tomorrow

At this year’s Light+Building, Siemens Smart Infrastructure is introducing LData, a busbar trunking system specially designed for data centers wanting to improve their efficiency, availability and adaptability. The more internet traffic, mobile users as well as Internet of Things connections increase, the more data has to be processed. That is why high-performance data centers are emerging as the backbone of a digital society. These data centers must offer the highest degree of availability to protect critical data as well as business-critical applications and industrial processes.

HARTING: Standard industrial interface for SPE set

HARTING: Standard industrial interface for SPE set

On January 23, 2020 the international standard for Single Pair Ethernet interfaces in industrial applications was published with IEC 63171-6. The editor is the IEC committee SC 48B copper connectors. The mating face standard IEC 63171-6 T1 Industrial® Style was the first standard submitted by HARTING to SC 48B for a Single Pair Ethernet mating face as early as 2016. “This early initiative is now paying off and 2020 users finally have a reliable investment basis for future-proof IIoT networks based on Single Pair Ethernet”, explains Ralf Klein, Managing Director of HARTING Electronics.
