Phoenix Contact: New XT 2.5 Terminal Blocks

The new XT 2.5 terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact are the first to feature a front Push-X connection, allowing fast and easy wiring. The XT 2.5 portfolio includes feed-through and multi-conductor terminal blocks as well as function versions for using disconnect knives, plug-in fuses, and components. With Push-X technology, solid, stranded, or ferruled conductors and cross-sections can now be connected even faster, either manually or automatically. As one of the fastest connection technologies on the market, Push-X technology increases the efficiency of control cabinet wiring. The factory-opened clamping space further reduces installation time.

With the GP21 and GS21 connectors, SCHURTER launched the world’s first DC connector systems standardized according to IEC TS 62735-1 for efficient power distribution in data centers, for power distribution strips and UPS applications back in 2019. The GH21 and GI21 appliance Inlets are brand new. The GI21 model is designed for pure DC operation, while the GH21 is a hybrid version and can therefore accept both AC and DC current. SCHURTER also offers the rewireable GC21 Connector to match the appliance Inlets.

The 221 Series Compact Splicing Connector for hazardous areas offers entirely new design possibilities, particularly for the manufacturers of distribution boxes, terminal boxes, lights or electronic devices. The light gray “Ex protection” version also retains all the advantages of the 221 Series. As an all-purpose terminal block of ignition protection type Ex e (“Increased Safety”) it can be used for all applications in zones 1 and 2.
