In this update of the EPLAN Data Portal, there are now a total of 507 manufacturers and more than 1,860,000 data sets are available with the latest updates in August and September 2024. The Weidmuller Group is strengthening its first management level as of 10/01/2024: Dr Sebastian Durst, previously Chief Operations Officer, is taking over the newly created position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dr Sebastian Durst has been with Weidmuller since 2015 after 10 years as a management consultant. Andreas Sobotta to Assume Role of Vice President North and South America for Pilz Automation

Pilz Automation Safety Canada L.P. announced in March of this year that their long-term CEO and GM, Andreas Sobotta, will assume the role of Vice President North and South America, effective immediately. He will still work from the Canadian office in Mississauga and visit all other subsidiaries in North and South America. Pilz will take their time to find a successor for the leading position in Canada. The plan is to have a proper candidate by Q4/24 or the beginning of 2025.
