CDM Electronics has announced the promotion of Abigail Plank to General Manager ECAS (Engineered Cable Assembly Solutions) for both the Turnersville, New Jersey and Salisbury, Maryland production facilities. Abigail will be based out of the Turnersville production facility. In this new position Abigail will monitor daily activities within the ECAS purchasing and quoting departments to include timely order placement, cost savings initiatives and customer quoting requirements. Additionally, Abigail will act as a liaison between CDM’s Engineering and Sales departments and customers.

Recently, Schneider Electric announced plans to invest $140 million into its U.S. manufacturing operations and create about 750 new manufacturing jobs across the country in 2024. The company will invest $85 million initially to transform and equip an existing 500,000 square foot building in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and upgrade its existing Smyrna, Tennessee manufacturing operations.
