Calvin Butler to Join Emerson’s Board of Directors

Emerson has recently announced the election of Calvin Butler, President and Chief Executive Officer of Exelon, to its Board of Directors, effective August 1, 2024. He will serve on the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.  Effective August 1, 2024, the Emerson Board will expand to 12 members.    Butler is a seasoned public company executive with significant operational and leadership experience in the energy industry. He has led Exelon, one of the nation’s largest utility companies, as President and CEO since 2022 and served in a variety of leadership roles during his 16-year tenure at the company.

Graybar Names Steven Bourbeau District Vice President in Chicago

Graybar has recently named Steven Bourbeau as District Vice President for the company’s Chicago District, effective June 1, 2024. A 29-year Graybar veteran, Bourbeau joined the company in 1995. He currently serves as Director of Finance in Chicago, a position he has held since 2005. As District Vice President, he will lead Graybar’s business operations in a territory that includes portions of Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin.

In this update of the EPLAN Data Portal, there are now a total of 487 manufacturers and more than 1,680,000 data sets are available with the update on April 11, 2024. New manufacturer catalogs are available from China Leadshine Technology Co. Ltd. with 178 new data sets for amplifiers and controllers, Sichuan Odot Automation System Co. Billie Wallingford to Retire from STOBER

Billie Wallingford to Retire from STOBER

Billie Wallingford, a machinist on STOBER’s manufacturing team, has worked at STOBER for more than 10 years and will be retiring on April 26. Billie says he feels lucky to have been hired at STOBER after being laid off from a 33-year career at Browning’s in 2013 at the age of 54. “At the time, I was worried about who’d hire someone my age,” Billie said.  “But I was only laid off for six weeks—enough time to collect just one unemployment check—and I appreciate STOBER giving me a chance.”
