ifm: Temporary Housing Color Change

Due to limited raw material availability, some products may be delivered in black PBT plastic instead of their normal orange color. Technically, there is no difference in the material other than the color and the products will also carry the same approvals. At this moment, it is unclear how long the delivery constraints will last on the orange PBT plastic, but in order to maintain product availability, ifm will deliver them in black as needed.

Hammond Manufacturing: Type 12 Lay-In Wireway

Introducing the Type 12 Lay-In Wireway from Hammond Manufacturing, designed to enclose and protect electrical wiring from dirt, dust, oil and water. All sections and fittings of the wireway are completely open on each side to allow wires and cables to be placed into the wireway without ‘pulling through’. The Type-12 has UL 870 Type 1 and CSA Type 1 standards, unless marked, and complies with NEMA Type 12 and IEC 60529, IP54 standards.

HARTING: Han L32 B Offers Optimal Use Of Installation Space

Using an L32 B connector allows users to replace two size 16 B interfaces — saving over 40% of installation space. This makes it possible to transmit power, signals and data with fewer interfaces and fewer components. It also cuts the time required to assemble interfaces. The resulting lower weight also benefits a number of other applications, e.g. in robotics. The solution not only saves space, it also makes a contribution to lower consumption – and thus stands for sustainable product design.
