Banner Engineering: ZMX Series 3D Time of Flight Sensor

The ZMX Series 3D Time of Flight Sensor can measure and monitor objects within a three-dimensional area. It provides a single-sensor solution for filling applications and can detect both the peak height and average fill level. The ZMX Series features a large 60° × 45° field of view, with a range of 200 to 2,500 mm (7.9 in. to 8.2 ft.). Because the sensor can detect items of any size, shape, or orientation, it is an ideal tool for automated industrial applications in which materials, products, or packages accumulate within a defined area.

These finger-safe, DIN-rail mounted fuse holders are available in 1-, 2-, or 3-pole versions with a blown fuse LED indicator on select models. They are offered with up to a 30A capacity and a 200kA interrupt rating for CC Class fuse holders, and a 100kA interrupt rating for Midget Class fuse holders.

Pepperl+Fuchs recently introduced the new KFU8-SR-EX universal powered switch amplifier, which can be used in intrinsically safe applications and functional safety up to SIL 2. The new KFU8 can be supplied with 19 V DC to 30 V DC or 90 V AC to 253 V AC, making the new switch amplifier family from Pepperl+Fuchs a true standout. With this functionality, a single device can be used with various supply voltages. This frequently applies to a variety of applications, such as machine building and devices installed in a field box. As a result, fewer components need to be kept in stock and in the field technician’s toolbox.
