Carlo Gavazzi: SPDL Series – New Power Supplies With High Performance and Compact Dimensions for DIN-Rail Mounting

April 1, 2025
The SPDL series offers two housing options across four power ranges, from 15 W to 75 W, all with a compact 32 mm width. This design reduces panel space by up to 20% and cuts weight by up to 35%, making it an ideal solution for applications where space is limited.
The SPDL power supplies are certified to the highest industry standards, including CE, UL 62368, and UL61010 (for 75 W models), ensuring top-quality performance and safety. These power supplies are perfect for applications requiring high efficiency and a wide operating temperature range. The SPDL series offers up to 88% efficiency and operates in temperatures ranging from -40ºC to +80ºC (-40ºF to +176ºF).
Additionally, these devices come with integrated diagnostics and protection features, including Over Current (OVC), Over Voltage (OVP), and Short Circuit (SCP) protection. The Over Temperature (OVT) function is also available for the 75W models, ensuring maximum protection even under abnormal conditions.
“This new SPDL series, with models from 15 to 75 W, complements our existing 120 and 240 W DIN-rail power supplies, and offers an ideal alternative to our current SPD series, enhancing the overall performance and reliability of our product range.” said Matteo Pinciroli, International Product Specialist. “With this launch, we aim to reinforce Carlo Gavazzi’s position by offering one of the most compact DIN-rail power supplies available on the market, meeting the customers’ demand of advanced features in compact size.”
