nVent Acquires TEXA Industries

nVent Electric plc has recently announced it has acquired TEXA Industries, which will operate within its Enclosures business segment.

The acquisition of TEXA and its highly complementary portfolio strengthens nVent’s position as a global systems provider. TEXA provides advanced cooling technologies with innovative industrial air conditioners and chillers to help customers better solve for increasing heat loads when designing systems.

“We are excited about the addition of TEXA Industries. Combined with our expertise in liquid cooling, this acquisition strengthens nVent’s position and accelerates our ability to provide global cooling solutions in demanding environments, such as industrial automation and energy storage,” said Alexander van der Weide, nVent HOFFMAN General Manager and Vice President.

Based in Italy, TEXA Industries is a major European provider of industrial cooling applications, including air conditioners and chillers, with approximately 90 employees.

Recently, Siemens AG has successfully completed the succession process for its top management. As long planned, Roland Busch (56) has succeeded long-serving President and CEO Joe Kaeser (63) as head of the Munich-based technology company. At the company’s virtual Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on February 3, 2021, shareholders also confirmed, by a large majority, Supervisory Board Chairman Jim Hagemann Snabe (55) for another four-year term of office.

Rockwell Automation Announces Christian Rothe as New Chief Financial Officer

Rockwell Automation has recently announced that Christian Rothe will join the company as senior vice president and chief financial officer on Aug. 19. He will report to Rockwell Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Blake Moret. Rothe brings with him a broad background of executive leadership, finance, strategic planning, operations, and corporate development experience. He joins Rockwell after spending 13 years at Graco Inc., an industrial company specializing in the development and manufacturing of fluid-handling systems and products. Rothe served as chief financial officer and treasurer at Graco from 2015 through 2018 before moving into roles leading Graco’s global business divisions.
