The Phoenix Contact portfolio now includes the new RJ45 patch cables for industrial applications.

The RJ45 INDUSTRIAL patch cable series enables data speeds of up to 10 Gbps in accordance with CAT5 and CAT6A and is particularly suitable for Industrial Ethernet and PROFINET environments. The connectors with a uniform look and feel feature high-quality overmolding and a protected locking clip to ensure robustness. The patch cables with increased vibration resistance, are ideal for industrial applications. Up to five different cable outlet directions and a broad cable portfolio including versions for drag chain and robot applications open up versatile opportunities for use. With comprehensive CE, cULus, and EAC approvals, the RJ45 patch cables can be used anywhere in the world.

This board-based leadership change supports the successful maturation of the U.S. company as a Group Center of Competence and the overall Business Area (BA) structure that Phoenix Contact first implemented in 2016. It also provides a seamless transition in preparation for the retirement of Jack Nehlig, President of Phoenix Contact USA, who is retiring on December 31, 2024, after 23 years with the company.
