Phoenix Contact: Electronics Housings for RPI Touch Displays

UCS series universal electronics housings from Phoenix Contact are now also available with ready-made cutouts for the 7 inch touch displays of Raspberry Pi boards, as well as all the standard connections for the mini computers.

The polycarbonate housings provide a functional package for the B2 and B3 Raspberry Pi models. The housings are suitable for desktop or wall use and reliably protect the integrated electronics from external influences. The 237 mm x 195 mm x 47 mm housings are ready to install and provide space for additional printed circuit boards in more demanding applications.

nVent Electric plc recently introduced the nVent RAYCHEM STS-HV cable, the latest addition to the nVent RAYCHEM STS Skin-effect Tracing System portfolio of longline heating solutions. This new 10 kV system delivers circuit length capabilities up to 50 km (31 miles) with operating temperatures up to 150°C (302°F) for the world’s longest heated pipeline installations.

The plug-in terminal strip 302-FBG is equipped with a solder pin and designed for the use on PCBs. Due to the small 8 mm pitch, this design is well suited for applications where space is limited. Used in combination with a plug-in terminal strip 302-SV, the contact pressure is applied by a stainless-steel spring. In plugged condition, all metal components are protected against accidental contact, except for the solder pins. The screws are captive, vibration-proof and secured against self-loosening.

Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. has recently announced the release of the NZ2FT Series slice distributed I/O solution. NZ2FT Series is a modular distributed I/O system that operates currently as a remote station for EtherNet/IP, Profibus DP, and Modbus TCP device-level networks. Same Sky: USB Type C Connectors Line Adds New Waterproof and Power-Only Models

Same Sky’s Interconnect Group recently announced the continued expansion of its USB Type C connectors line with a range of new waterproof and power-only models. The UJ family now offers waterproof USB receptacles with IPX5, IPX6, IPX7, or IPX8 ratings, making them ideal for applications where moisture is a concern. This expansion also includes new 90 W power-only USB Type C receptacles, including IPX5 rated options. By removing the data transfer pins, the UJC models are a more cost-effective solution for designs where charging or power is the sole function.

Pepperl+Fuchs: Cylindrical Photoelectric M18 Series

They are functional and yet can be used flexibly—the cylindrical photoelectric sensors of the M18 series offer five functional principles in three designs—each with a uniform interface.
