Rittal: Product Conversion from AE/EB/KL to the New AX/KX Carbon Steel Enclosures

July 6, 2020

By Emily Petropoulo, Rittal

Rittal, a global provider of industrial enclosures, climate control, power management systems, and automation services, recently announced conversion from AE/EB/KL to the new AX/KX carbon steel enclosures. Our new product line features a faster assembly and component installation, greater flexibility and enhanced safety.

As part of our continued focus on excellence, Rittal North America LLC this year introduced a brand new line of enclosures called AX/KX. They are designed to replace the majority of our AE, EB, and KL enclosure lines. This letter serves as formal notification that Rittal North America LLC is discontinuing the production of the AE, EB, and KL  products effective September 1st, 2020.

We will only be excepting new orders through August 31st, 2020 for standard AE, EB, and KL products. Deliveries must also be scheduled before October 1st, 2020. All new orders received after August 31st may be converted to AX or KX products wherever possible. As a reminder, effective today, all AE, EB, and KL will no longer be stocked as we deplete the available inventory.

Any new orders received will be non-returnable as indicated on my June 1st correspondence. Current AE, EB, and KL SPA pricing will be reviewed on new orders after August 31st, 2020.

We apologize for any inconvenience this announcement may cause and remain eager to meet your future requirements. If you have any questions about the switchover, please get in touch with your technical advisor.
