Kate VanGheem of Rittal North America, LLC Recognized as One of CRN’s 2020 Women of the Channel

May 19, 2020

Rittal North America, LLC announced recently that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Kate VanGheem, National Channel Manager, to its esteemed 2020 Women of the Channel list. Recognizing the unique strengths, vision, and achievements of a select group of women, this prestigious, annual list acknowledges channel leaders who are blazing a trail for future generations. These women are from all areas of the IT ecosystem, including technology vendors, distributors, solution providers, and other IT organizations.

CRN editorial team selects the honorees to celebrate a list of exceptional women acclaimed for their contributions to channel advocacy, growth, thought leadership, and dedication to the IT channel.

In her current role as National Channel Manager, Kate has launched our first North American Partner Summit and Channel Advisory Board. She’s brought industry experts together teaching strategy and relational skills to all channel partners, aligning all teams. Kate has also developed a new internal program to utilize the strength of our company’s industrial heritage to create a new Edge Solution Channel.

“My key priority has been to align with our partner’s strategy and focus on our joint goals. One key to aligning strategy has been to put more of a focus on what our partners need to succeed and not what we need them to do. True partnership has been my focus” said Kate. “As we move forward to build better partnerships, we’ve shifted from being Rittal-focused to Partner-focused. Our channel partners are the go-to-market strategy and critical to our success. Our goal this year is to increase channel sales by 43% and will be achieved by increasing our partner’s profitability and providing the proper support they need in order to succeed.”

“CRN’s 2020 Women of the Channel list recognizes an accomplished group of influential women leaders whose strategic vision and unique achievements accelerate channel growth through cultivated partnerships, innovative thought leadership, and unwavering dedication to the IT channel,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are proud to honor them for their accomplishments and contributions to driving channel success.”

“Kate has been instrumental in driving our Partner go-to-market strategy here at Rittal. Her vision and work to align the Partner Program globally offers up a level of consistency, creating a global ecosystem that helps all of our partners best serve their customers” said Kevin Nusky, Sr. Director of Data Center Solutions.
